Telling Story, Inc. is, by design, a small firm, more akin to a workshop than an agency or equipment facility. Our focus is singular – creating practical films for business clients.

Our work is free of gratuitous ornament, but still beautiful. It is serious but not somber, grounded and yet spirited. Most importantly, though, it is authentic.

To that end, we do not use actors in any of our programs, nor do we stage dramatic scenes or reenactments. Instead, we work with the actual people, places, and processes in our clients’ organizations, and cull from those things the material with which we make our programs.

Our work ranges from direct-response television spots to long-form documentaries, from short recruitment programs for the web to learning and lecture series distributed on DVD.

We receive commissions directly from individual clients, and also work as a sub-contractor to larger firms in advertising, design, and event production.

The “Telling” in our name is an adjective – a telling story, or a story that reveals the truth about its subject. This ethic, this truth-seeking through the collection of precise and authentic details, defines how we work.
