New Commission: "Life's Tough. Laugh More" TV Spot Campaign

Telling Story, Inc. will be working with Comix, the Manhattan comedy nightclub at 14th Street & 9th Avenue, to create a series of four TV spots based on their "Life's Tough. Laugh More" theme. Each spot will feature an embarrassing but not atypical life moment that will be familiar to most New Yorkers.

The spots will air on Time-Warner Cable in New York City, and production will begin in December 2007.

New Commission: Educational Video for The Hormone Foundation

Telling Story, Inc. has been commissioned by Springboard, a Los Angeles advertising and design agency, to produce an educational video for The Hormone Foundation. The video is intended for newly-diagnosed diabetes patients and will focus on insulin administration.

Production of the video will begin in December 2007 in Washington, DC.

Awards: 3 Wins for The Ride to Conquer Cancer

We're proud to announce that our recruitment video for The Ride to Conquer Cancer, a new fundraising event benefiting Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital, has recently been honored with three awards:

- The Golden Reel (Sales & Marketing category) at the 39th MCA-I Media Festival
- The Gold Plaque (Public Relations - Recruitment category) at the 43rd INTERCOM Competition
- The Bronze Plaque (Business & Industry category) at the 55th Columbus International Film & Video Festival

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a 2-day, 200km bicycle ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls. The inaugural ride will take place June 20-22, 2008.

"Power Ten KidFIT" on Fox 5's "Good Day New York"

On Monday, May 21st "Power Ten KidFIT" creator and Telling Story client Steven Panzik appeared on Fox 5's "Good Day New York," demonstrating kid-friendly exercises and promoting our "Power Ten KidFIT" DVD. Panzik was joined in his segment by show hosts Jodi Applegate and Ron Corning.

Telling Story, Inc. produced, directed, designed, edited, and animated all of the programs on the DVD, and also completed all of the menu design and authoring on the disk.The DVD contains three unique programs - a full, four-stage workout led by Panzik; "Indoor Games," imaginative and indoor-friendly twists on sports like basketball, hockey, and volleyball that are perfect activities for rainy days or birthday parties; and "The Morning 5," a quick, 3-minute exercise routine that gets parents and kids energized for the day in less time than it takes to make breakfast.

Next month "Power Ten KidFIT" will be featured in the June 2007 issue of "Long Island Magazine," in an article written by Soria Davis.

Awards: "2007 Excellent Product" Award for "Power Ten KidFIT"

On May 2, 2007 iParenting Media, the premier media company focused on parents and parents-to-be, announced that our "Power Ten KidFIT" DVD was named an "Excellent Product for 2007" in their annual iParenting Media Awards.

The iParenting Media Awards recognize the best products in the children's media and juvenile product industries. "iParenting is celebrating its 11th year of reviewing products for families," says Alvin All, Chief Executive Officer of iParenting Media. "The iParenting Media Awards program is proud to thoroughly review products and then recognize only the best ones in the marketplace."

Other winners joining "Power Ten KidFIT" in the Home Video/DVD category include "Bob the Builder: Bob's Top Team," Sesame Workshop's "Sesame Beginnings: Exploring Together," and "The Wiggles: Racing to the Rainbow."

Just Wrapped: The Weekend to End Breast Cancer Safety Video



On April 26th, 2007 Telling Story, Inc. wrapped production on the new Safety Video for The Weekend to End Breast Cancer. The shoot day, pictured above, happened in Los Angeles at Atwater Village Studios.

Two version's of the program will be delivered - one English-language, the other dual-language with French and English. Screenings begin in June with the first event in Ottawa.

Preview: "The Spirit Walk at Maple Grove Cemetery"




Pictured above are three of the ten landmarks featured on Telling Story's upcoming DVD for Maple Grove Cemetery. On December 15th Telling Story delivered eight :30 second direct-response television spots for the The Weekend to End Breast Cancer, the Canadian fundraising event. The spots will run in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg.
