Telling Story, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Andrew Filippone Jr.

 

Located in New York City, the company works locally, nationally, and internationally to create practical films for business clients.

 

We are, by design, a small firm, more a workshop than an agency or equipment facility. Though we produce motion picture programs, our best and most important service is good thinking. For us, camera and computer equipment is a peripheral concern, and the physical act of recording picture and sound is a lesser-included of the bigger task of distilling information, finding patterns, and discovering solutions within constraints.

 

We aim, always, for authenticity. We favor the anecdotal over the declarative.

We aspire to artfulness but reject gratuitous ornament. We constantly check ourselves against the question “does this work?” The companies that hire us are clients, after all, not patrons.

 

We receive commissions directly from business clients and also work as a subcontractor to larger firms in advertising, marketing, and event production.
